Detention Systems

All our tanks can be used as a detention system. Our detention solutions is a very economical way of meeting your council requirements and can be incorporated into your rainwater tank as a combination system.

Our detention kit included an 100mm outlet on your tank at the height specified by your hydraulic plans and we supply a stainless-steel orifice plate with opening as specified.

For example, you may be required to have 3000 litres of rainwater as per BASIX to feed into your house and garden and 3000L of detention. In this case we can manufacture a system where we use a 6000 litre tank and set the orifice at the half way mark satisfying both requirements.
